This is a tiny wheel thrown bowl, designed mostly for decoration though it would be lovely as a little salt pinch pot.

It has been decorated with a contemporary abstract pattern by hand using underglaze and has been finished with a clear, glossy glaze. The decoration has been applied entirely by eye and as a result, the piece is totally unique.

This bowl has a very minor flaw in the clay, which took me ages to spot! It’s a minor crease where the bowl has probably been dried too fast so the thicker and thinner areas have pulled apart ever so slightly.
