This is a wheel-thrown porcelain dish which has been hand decorated with blue underglaze.

Intended for dipping sauce for chinese dumplings, these also work beautifully for a small serving of olives, or a place to drop your earrings at night.

This particular dish is practically perfect. It's only flaw was that a tiny bit of glaze stuck to the kiln shelf in its final firing. I've smoothed it of and you'd really hardly know.
