This is a wheel thrown porcelain jar. It has been decorated by hand using blue underglaze and has been finished with a clear glaze.

I draw the pattern entirely by eye, guided only by some quickly applied waves of pencil which burns out in the glaze fire. This technique ensures that no two pieces are ever the same.
