This is a wheel thrown porcelain dish. I am a big fan of dim sum and sushi so I use these dishes to hold the delicious dipping sauces. They are equally good for holding your jewellery or just for looking pretty on a windowsill.

Each has been decorated by hand using a blue underglaze and finished with a clear glaze.

The decoration is applied entirely by eye, using only a roughly drawn pencil mark as a guide which burns out during the glaze fire. As a result each piece is unique.
